On vient en effet de se rendre compte que 7zip ne supporte pas RAR sur nos systèmes:
7-Zip is a file archiver supporting 7z (that implements LZMA compression algorithm featuring very high compression ratio), LZMA2, XZ, ZIP, Zip64, CAB, RAR (it was removed due a non-free license) , ARJ, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CPIO, RPM, ISO, most filesystem images and DEB formats.
Nous venons donc d'installer unar.
Multi-format extractor (Unar and Lsar | Command Line Tools for The Unarchiver)
The command-line utilities lsar and unar are capable of listing and extractingfiles respectively in several formats including RARv3. unar can serve as a free and open source replacement of unrar.Format: zip, RAR, 7z, tar, gzip, bzip2, LZMA, XZ, CAB, MSI, NSIS, EXE, ISO, BIN, and split file formats, as well as the old Stuffit, Stuffit X, DiskDouble, Compact Pro, Packit, cpio, compress (.Z), ARJ, ARC, PAK, ACE, ZOO, LZH, ADF, DMS, LZX, PowerPacker, LBR, Squeeze, Crunch, and other old formats.
Il est possible que unar ne soit pas totalement compatible avec toutes les archives RAR (@Francois a testé sans succès certaines archives).
Nous sommes donc preneur de retour (positif ou négatif).

PS: J'en profite pour dire que plusieurs outils de compression/décompression sont disponibles sur le cluster: lzip, gzip, bzip2, zip, unzip, p7zip, pbzip2, pigz, pbzip2, ncompress et maintenant unar
