One of our best W4M user met an issue concerning a large dataset (>800 raw files) running with XCMS. After a certain (and long) time, the job returned a: This job was terminated because it ran longer than the maximum allowed job run time.

And he couldn't send a report error without another error message because the Error reporting is disable on W4M instance.

It should have reached the walltime of 24 hours, the default for the short partition.
Which tools is it?

Do you know which tool is impacted ? XCMS seems to have several tool (xcms.findChromPeaks, xcms.groupChromPeaks, xcms.adjustRtime, xcms.fillChromPeaks, xcms process history).

Hi David, thanks for your reply. It was a full workflow which run. Mélanie help us to optimize the start of this workflow using collections. And I think it helps to avoid the error. Solved for me.
